The Black Butte Ranch Dinner Theater is taking reservations for two evenings of dinner, dessert and comedy sketches Tuesday and Wednesday at Black Butte Ranch.Presented by the Black Butte Ranch Players, the outdoor dinner theater will be held at the Black Butte Ranch Lodge. A buffet dinner will start things off, to be followed by a performance of four short comedies. ”Honored Guests” is about the funny things that happen when a resort homeowner bears a steady stream of guests; ”Duets for Dog and Bear” imagines the conversation between a treed bear and the pursuing dog; ”Off the Rack” is about an obnoxious saleswoman; and ”No Dogs Allowed” is about a woman who tries to convince a restaurant maitre d’ that her dog is actually her husband.Simple fun is the reason for the event, says organizer Lou Ann Gibbs.”When you have people that get up there and make fools of themselves, that’s what you get,” Gibbs said. ”It’s a fun, fun evening.”Tickets to the event are $22.
