Edward ”Ed” Dean Wells of Bend died Sunday. He was 48.

A celebration of life was held Sept. 8 at the home of Johnny Wells in La Pine.

Mr. Wells was born Nov. 19, 1956, in Bossier City, La., to Johnie and Kathrine (Robinson) Wells. After having been together since 1975, Mr. Wells and Candy Boughton wed on Oct. 24, 2004, in Reno, Nev.

Mr. Wells worked as an aircraft fabricator. He enjoyed modifying and riding Harley Davidsons and golfing.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Kathrine Carranza of Perris, Calif.; two daughters, Jennifer of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Maggie of Bend; three brothers, Johnny of La Pine, James of Chehalis, Wash., and Randy of Big Bear, Calif.; a sister, Nancy Gulizia of Moreno Valley; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
