Feb. 18, 1921 – Sept. 11, 2005

Dorothy Grover of Roseburg died Sept. 11. She was 84.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gresham.

Mrs. Grover was born Feb. 18, 1921, in Sunnyside, Wash., to Thorolf and Anna Berg. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland. She married Sam Grover on March 19, 1942.

She began working in banking during World War II, and retired from Wells Fargo Bank. She and her husband lived in Bend for 15 years before moving to Roseburg. She enjoyed swimming, golf, reading and her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Mike; and a daughter, Sue Walton.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
