Alvin ”Al” Henry Homan of Bend died Thursday. He was 67.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday at Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home in Bend. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Life Center in Bend, followed by interment at Pilot Butte Cemetery.

Mr. Homan was born March 20, 1938, in Colton, Calif., to Otis and Alice (Fouty) Homan. He married Marilyn Nowlin on Sept. 18, 1966, in Yucaipa, Calif.

He and his family moved to Bend in 1974. He worked for several car dealerships, and retired from Newport Avenue Market as a receiving clerk in 2000. He was affiliated with the Christian Life Center and various classic car clubs. He enjoyed classic cars, yard work, his dogs and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John of Bend and Charles of Nampa, Idaho; two daughters, Sherrie Arsenault of Bend and Linda Macias of Joaquin, Texas; two brothers, Glen of Cincinnati and Bob of Joaquin; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
