Man arrested on suspicion of stalking, arson

A Prineville man arrested Thursday night on suspicion of stalking, attempted burglary, arson and other crimes, was released from the Deschutes County Jail after posting bail, according to a jail official.
William Laddie Roberts, who owns a Redmond business, The Mortgage Specialists, was arrested around 9:20 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the Redmond Police Department. Police served warrants at his home and business and uncovered unspecified evidence supporting allegations of stalking, menacing, harassment, arson and attempted burglary, according to the news release.
He posted 10 percent of his $5,000 bail in cash, the jail official reported.
