Anna Marie Young of Prineville died Sunday. She was 86.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Prineville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Prineville Funeral Home. Pastor Willard Fenderson will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Parma, Idaho. Robert Devine will officiate.

Mrs. Young was born May 28, 1919, in Columbus, Kan., to Joseph and Vivian (Waltz) Smittle. She married Harlan Payne. They later divorced. She married Fred Young on July 17, 1961, in Winnemucca, Nev.

Mrs. Young worked for JR Simplot in Caldwell, Idaho. She moved to Prineville in 1984. She enjoyed homemaking, quilting, crafts, crocheting, rock hounding and fishing. She also enjoyed Winnebago Club traveling and spending winters in Arizona.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Dyas of Prineville; two brothers, Bob Divine of Red Bluff, Calif., and Jack Divine of Pittsburg, Kan.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.

Prineville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
