Ray Spreier has joined Mid Oregon Credit Union in Bend as vice president/chief information officer. Spreier most recently served as senior vice president of operations with BendBroadband. His experience also includes technical projects coordinator and information security specialist with a local defense contractor as well as various branches of the military. Spreier’s responsibilities will include day-to-day technology operations, implementation of cost-effective systems, system assessments and direction.

Bill Anderson, president/chief executive officer of Mid Oregon Credit Union in Bend, was named the Distinguished Credit Professional of the year and received the Distinguished Service Award at the Credit Union Association of Oregon’s annual conference. The award recognizes credit union professionals for outstanding accomplishments, time and effort in support and promotion of the credit union ideals. Anderson was also recognized by the Northwest Corporate Federal Credit Union as an award-winning member on their board. He has been with the company for 12 years.
