Herman ‘Jin’ Herzberg

Herman ”Jin” Herzberg of Dufur died Dec. 30 of natural causes. He was 81.
No services will be held.
Mr. Herzberg was born Dec. 16, 1924, in Baynard, Neb., to Herman Herzberg and Amelia Nielson. He married Ellen Sadlow on Sept. 14, 1992.
Mr. Herzberg was a truck driver, and had owned a business in La Pine. He was a member of VFW Post No. 6306 and Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed casino gambling and playing darts.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Louis of Hood River and Lowell Stuebe of Hillsboro; six daughters, Lois Herzberg of Wash., Louise Ransier of White Salmon, Wash., Laura Koyle of Montana, Rose Longmire of Spokane, Wash., Glenna Gibson of Tacoma, and Mary Engel of Spokane; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
