Jacob Polvi, a civil engineer from Bend, was recently nominated for the American Society of Civil Engineers’ New Faces of Civil Engineering Program. The national program includes representatives from the civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial and manufacturing engineering professions. Polvi is president and founder of The Center of Sustainability in Bend, a consulting firm that focuses on water, energy and green design. Polvi earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Oregon State University.

Sue Erickson, conventions assistant at Sunriver Resort, received the resort’s ”Associate of the Year Award” for 2005. Erickson has worked at the resort since August 1999.

Pam Sandefur, director of training and development at Sunriver Resort, received the resort’s ”Leader of the Year Award” for 2005.

RE/MAX Equity Group Inc., Old Mill District, has announced its top producers for 2005: Sheila Balyeat won ”Top Individual,” Earlene Dillard won for ”Top Team” and Dave Steigleder was awarded ”Rookie of the Year.”

Barbara Myers has earned ”Top Lister” and ”Top Producer” for January 2006 with Coldwell Banker Mayfield Realty of Redmond.

Greg Yeakel, owner and principal broker of Summit Real Estate in Bend, has joined the Economic Development for Central Oregon board of directors. Previously, Yeakel was vice president of sales and marketing for Hayden Homes.

Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate in Bend has announced sales associates awards and achievements for 2005. Winners of the ”President’s Premier” award for associates in the top 1 percent of all Coldwell Banker sales associates internationally were: Norma DuBoise, Shelly Hummel, Carol Osgood, Janie Richter, Virginia Ross, Tami Sawyer, Mark Valceschini and Sandy Garner. Garner also earned No. 1 sales associate in Oregon; and in the western region, No. 3 sales associate for selling units, No. 2 sales associate for listing units, No. 1 associate for total units, No. 1 sales associate for adjusted gross income; and internationally, No. 4 sales associate for total units and No. 5 sales associate for adjusted gross income.

Winners of the ”President’s Elite” award for sales associates in the top 3 percent internationally for Coldwell Banker were: Al Eastwood, Greg Floyd, Glenda Mackie, Judy Meyers and Carolyn Priborsky.
