Ralph Andrew Wiley of Bend died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 87.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Des-chutes Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Deschutes Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Wiley was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Ashland to Charles Wiley and Mary Phillips. He graduated from Redmond High School in 1937. He served in the U.S. military from 1942 until he was medically discharged in 1944. He married Lorraine Ferriera on June 22, 1943, in Lemore, Calif.

Mr. Wiley worked for Oregon Equipment for 32 years. He retired in 1980. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and gardening.

Survivors include a son, Bob of Bend; a daughter, Patty Moore; a sister, Dorothy Bloore of Canby; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice.
