Sara Michaelynn Taylor and Joshua Alexander Shaffer were married Dec. 22, 2005, in Las Vegas. A reception will be held this summer.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Taylor of Lakewood, Calif. She is a 2003 graduate of Mayfair High School. She currently attends Hope International University, where she studies ministry.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shaffer Jr. of La Pine. He was home-schooled and graduated in 2003. He currently attends Hope International University, where he studies ministry.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Oregon. They have settled in Fullerton, Calif.
