Registration is open for the 2006 Pacific Northwest Juniper PGA Championship, the winners of which will qualify for a national championship junior event.

The Pacific Northwest PGA Section recently announced that its junior championships will be held June 3-4 at McCormick Woods Golf Course in Port Orchard, Wash.

The winners of the boys and girls divisions will join champions from each of 41 PGA sections nationwide to compete at the Junior PGA Championship, set for Aug. 10-13 in Westfield Center, Ohio.

The junior tournament is for golfers who have not reached their 19th birthday and who have not started college.
