- Ruben Garmyn earned the ”Top of the Rock” award for residential sales
Designer Chad DeWilde has joined Buzzsaw Studio, an advertising and design firm in Bend. A graduate of Mt. Hood Community College, DeWilde recently won four student Awards of Excellence at the Central Oregon Ad Federation’s 2005 Drake Awards.
Coldwell Banker Mayfield Realty in Redmond has announced that brokers Marty Darrah, Tony Hill and Alexis Hlavacek have ranked in the top 18 percent internationally for Coldwell Banker sales associates, qualifying them as members of the Sterling Society.
Mike Hornback has joined Invisible Fence of the Deschutes as general manager.
Keith Harless, a physician at Bend Memorial Clinic, was named 2006 Outstanding Clinician by the Oregon Thoracic Society.
Veterinarian Mary Masterson has joined Bend Equine Medical Center. A graduate of Tufts University Veterinary School, she practiced for five years at Columbia Equine in Gresham.
Jim Birtola and Ruben Garmyn, brokers with Prudential High Desert Realty in Bend, won ”Top of the Rock,” The Pinnacle Award and the Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award for top residential sales units in the United States for 2005 at the Prudential Financial sales convention in San Antonio. The Birtola and Garmyn real estate sales team ranked No. 1 in Oregon and the West, and No. 2 in the nation.
Lynne Farrell has joined Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Central Oregon as executive director. Coming to Bend from Long Beach, Calif., Farrell has a master’s degree in gerontology.
