Barker - Garrett

Jessica Ann Barker of Oregon City and Sean Michael Garrett of Redmond plan to marry May 19 in Forest Grove.

The future bride is the daughter of Cliff and Kathy Cullings of Sterling, Alaska, and Jim and Charlotte Barker of Kimberly. She is a 2000 graduate of Monroe High School in Fairbanks, Alaska, and a 2004 graduate of Oregon State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science. She works as an administrative assistant for Renaissance Development Inc. in Lake Oswego.

The future groom is the son of Frank Garrett of Redmond and Sheryl Ascherl of Crooked River Ranch. He is a 2001 graduate of Redmond High School and a 2006 graduate of Oregon State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He works as a structural stress engineer for Boeing Commercial Aircraft in Everett, Wash. In the fall, he will begin graduate studies in aeronautical engineering at the University of Washington.
