Recalls

The following recalls have been announced:
* About 670 Scubapro X650 second stage regulators, manufactured by Scubapro, have been recalled because the main housing could change shape as time passes, dislodging the cover and diaphragm. This would stop the air from flowing properly and put users at risk of drowning.
Only some of the X650 regulators have the manufacturing error that causes this risk. These regulators have a bump on their right sides, between the letter ”C” and the place where the mouthpiece attaches to the body of the regulator.
The regulators were sold at authorized Scubapro dealers around the country between June 2005 and May 2006. The company is contacting registered owners of the regulators. To determine if a regulator is affected by this manufacturing error, contact the company at 800-808-3948. For more information, visit www.scubapro.com or www.cpsc.gov.
* About 1,700 Eton E1XM model AM/FM/SW/XM-ready radios, manufactured by Eton Corp., have been recalled because the battery could overheat and rupture when the AC adapter is in use, posing a fire hazard. The radios have serial numbers 3067 through 5642. They were sold at electronics stores, through catalogs and online between November 2004 and February 2006. To receive a replacement or refund, call 800-872-2228. For more information, visit www.eton corp.com or www.cpsc.gov.
