Prineville assistant city manager hired

In Prineville, the newly created position of assistant city manager in charge of community development has been filled. Jerry Gillham will take the position, according to a news release from the city of Prineville.
Prineville City Manager Robb Corbett said in the statement that Gillham was hired to guide the city’s planning and infrastructure development.
Gillham is currently the city manager in Baker City, where he has worked since 2003.
Prior to his work in Baker City, Gillham served as city manager in Scappoose, Madras and Nyssa.
He’s also served as the CEO for the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce and as the assistant to the city manager/business assistance and development for the city of Gresham, the release said.
