The following recalls have been announced:

* About 100,000 Lycksele chair beds and sofa beds, made by IKEA Home Furnishings, because people can get their fingers caught in the folding portion of the bed. The company has received one report of a finger tip being amputated.

The beds have iron frames and natural wood slats; the chair beds are stamped with article number 700-326-82 and the sofa beds with article number 900-326-81. The number is printed on a white sticker on the underside of the product.

The sticker also has a four-digit number indicating a date; the affected chair and sofa beds were sold before July 2005 and are stamped 0526 and earlier. The first two numbers indicate the year and the second two numbers indicate the week. Beds stamped 0527 and later are not affected.

IKEA stores and the com-pany’s Web site sold these beds from April 1999 until last month. For more information, call the company at 888-966-4532, visit a local IKEA store, or visit www.ikea-usa.com or www.cpsc.gov

* About 3,900 Suunto D9 and D6 model wrist-top dive computers, made by Suunto Oy, because they incorrectly could calculate dive time, leading to decompression sickness. The company has received no reports of injuries. The affected products include D9 models with serial numbers 62102582 and D6 models with serial numbers 62103693 and below. The serial numbers are printed on the side of the watch, and the model number is printed on the back.

Diving shops nationwide sold the product from September 2004 until last month. Consumers should bring the watches to the closest Suunto dealer to receive a software update. For more information, call the company at 800-543-9124 or visit www.suunto.com or www.cpsc.gov

* About 19,300 ”Monica” and ”Turbo 1200” hand-held hair dryers, made by Style Tronics Inc., because they do not have immersion protection plugs to prevent people from getting electrocuted if the dryer falls into water. Monica model hair dryers have this model name and SW-117 written on the handle. Turbo 1200 model hair dryers have this model name written on the nozzle and DS-507 written on the handle. The dryers were sold at discount stores nationwide between April 2004 and June 2005. For a full refund, call 888-266-9272. For more information, visit www.cpsc.gov

* About 29,000 Warm Mist CareFree Humidifiers, manufactured by Hunter Fan Co., because water can leak into the humidifier’s electrical compartment and cause a fire. The company has received one report of property damage related to the problem.

The humidifiers are made of black or white plastic and have blue- or green-tinted water tanks. ”Hunter” and ”NiteGlo” are printed on the product, and the white label on the bottom has model number 35201, 35202, 35203, 35207 or 35253 printed on it.

Home, discount and hardware stores nationwide sold the humidifiers from September 2005 until February 2006. Consumers should unplug the devices and contact the company at 866-818-7609 or visit www.hunterfan.com or www.cpsc.gov.
