Neil and Mary (Putnam) Davis, of Bend, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 20 in Bend at the home of Ken Davis.

The couple were married Aug. 18, 1946, in Redmond. They have three children, Gary (and Cheryl) Davis, of Bend, Ken Davis, of Bend, and Laurie (and Larry) Graves, of La Grande; and two grandchildren.

The couple co-owns Davis Insulation Co. with their son, Ken. They run a cattle ranch. Mr. Davis has been involved with the Deschutes County Fair and has served on the Oregon State Fair Board. He served as director of Central Oregon Irrigation. Mrs. Davis is a Soroptimist and has been a judge at many fairs for cooking and sewing events. She is an active gardener.

The couple are lifelong residents of Bend. Mr. Davis has lived in Bend for 81 years, and Mrs. Davis has lived in Bend for 80 years.
