Marilyn Rose Di Meglio, of Christmas Valley, died Friday of complications from cancer. She was 59.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Baird Memorial Chapel in La Pine. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Baird Memorial Chapel in La Pine. A graveside service will follow at Silverlake Cemetery.

Mrs. Di Meglio was born March 27, 1947, in Lafayette, Ind., to Ellis and Margaret (Woodruff) Prather. She married Daniel Di Meglio on Sept. 2, 1996, in Salem.

Mrs. Di Meglio was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, watching soap operas, picnics and barbecues.

Survivors include her husband; five sons, Jesse, of Grass Valley, Calif., Cory, Bobby, Norman and Randy, all of Medford; two daughters, Megan, of Medford, and Kimberly, of Ashland; two brothers, Jim of Sacramento, Calif., and Bobby, of Portland; a sister, Pat, of Havre, Mont.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
