Details: Prudential High Desert Realty’s new $1.2 million office building is going up on the corner of Northeast First Street and Greenwood Avenue near downtown Bend, on the site where the old Second Season Sports store once stood.

The 6,000-square-foot building will include a roofed courtyard with mountain views, along with an interior atrium, High Desert co-owner and broker Ruben Garmyn said.

For now, it will hold Garmyn, co-owner and broker Jim Birtola, and 28 co-workers in Prudential High Desert Realty, Garmyn said. Later on, it will include mortgage and property management offices.

The building’s exterior will include a stucco finish with rock work at the base, copper accents and cedar eaves, Garmyn said.

High Desert Realty is a team brokerage led by Birtola and Garmyn, with 14 other brokers and their support staffs.
