POWELL BUTTE – Gaming-style events will hit the ground running Saturday at a Playday hosted by the Rimrock Riders horse club.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the club’s outdoor arena followed by playday activities at 9 a.m., which include barrel racing, pole bending two other timed events.

Racing is open to all ages and ability levels, and riders compete in one of five age divisions (0-7, 8-13, 14-25, 26-49, 50 and older).

The day fee to participate in the playday is $10 for youth riders ages 13 and under and $15 for riders 14 and older. Nonmembers pay an additional $5 fee.

The Rimrock Riders arena is located on Alfalfa Road near Brasada Ranch.
