Gary Eugene Bunger

April 24, 1968 – Oct. 23, 2006

Gary Eugene Bunger, of Bend, died Monday of injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 38.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of the Nazarene in Bend.

Mr. Bunger was born April 24, 1968, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Gary and Sharrell Bunger. He was a 1986 graduate of Bend High School and a 1991 graduate of Oregon State University. He married Elisa Bunger on July 17, 1993, in Portland.

Mr. Bunger was president of Mountain View Heating. He was on the board of the Central Oregon Builders Association. He enjoyed football, camping, boating and catching lizards with his daughters.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kylee and Suzi, both of Bend; his mother, of Bend; a brother, Michael Coffman, of Bend; and three sisters, Buffy Busik, of Bend, Sheri Hanson, of Washington, and Laurie Jenefsky, of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father.
