Work will begin in the spring on The Oxford Hotel, an upscale hotel proposed for downtown Bend next to the city’s new Centennial Parking Garage. The 56-room, seven-story hotel, formerly known as Hotel O, will take 18 months to build and be open for business in fall 2008, said Curt Baney, president of The Baney Hotel Group. It will cater to business and leisure travelers with upgraded amenities and larger room sizes ranging in price from $150 to $200 per night, he said.
