Ulric ”Ric” Leddy, of Bend, died Nov. 8 of an intestinal infraction. He was 79.

A dedication will be held in the spring of 2007 in Bend.

Mr. Leddy was born March 4, 1927, in Roswell, N.M., to Charles and Mary Leddy. He married Cecil Phillips.

Mr. Leddy worked as a commercial installer. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Clackamas County Grange. He enjoyed horseback riding, gardening and gun collecting.

Survivors include three sisters, Erma Estis, Bettye Short and Wanda Benner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, a daughter and a brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
