Jeanine Joy (Thurman) Sibert, of Redmond, died Monday. She was 64.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Free Methodist Church in Madras.

Mrs. Sibert was born March 1, 1943, in Eugene to Quentin and Leatha Thurman.

She graduated from Crow High School in 1961. She married Gary Fowler in July 1961.

Mrs. Sibert worked as a cook at the Stag Restaurant in Madras until she became disabled.

She enjoyed flowers, reading, cooking, fishing, birdwatching and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include four sons, Stanley Fowler, of St. Helens, Stewart Fowler, of Sutherlin, Joseph Fowler, of Madras, and Brian Fowler, of Portland; a daughter, Melody Wilson, of Redmond; a sister, Mary Fox, of Marcola; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice or Sparrow Clubs of Central Oregon.

Deschutes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
