Central Oregon’s Sunriver Resort has made Golf For Women’s list of the country’s 25 best family golf resorts.

According to a Golf For Women release, the publication ”has found the resorts that offer a first-rate experience for families who want to play together. Complete with junior tees, kids instruction, junior club rentals and family tee times, the destinations that made the first-ever list of family-friendly golf resorts have taken the lead in making golf a sport for the future.”

Along with Sunriver Resort on the Golf For Women list are such noted golf destinations as Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C.; Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Kiawah, S.C.; and Sea Island in Sea Island, Ga. The list appears in the May/June 2007 edition of Golf For Women magazine.
