Crosswater Golf Club announces staff changes

Selena Zertuche earns certified insurance service representative designation

Paul Pastoor, Ronnie Quigley and Josh Willis have taken new assignments at Sunriver Resort’s Crosswater Golf Club.

Pastoor has been appointed food and beverage manager, transitioning from the position of Sunriver Resort’s interim food and beverage director. He has more than 25 years of international hotel and resort experience and was most recently the vice president of operations at Pronghorn Club.

Quigley joins Crosswater as the membership coordinator from a similar role at Broken Top Club. She owned a wedding and event planning business and currently co-owns Top Spin Tennis and Racquet Sports in Bend. She enjoys skiing, running and tennis.

Willis has been promoted to head golf professional. He is a PGA apprentice graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Mississippi State University. Since 2001, Willis worked at Crosswater during the summers and became a full-time employee after his graduation in 2004.

Jennifer Tracy is the new retail manager and buyer for Awbrey Glen Golf Club. Tracy spent many years as the senior buyer and product developer for Glacier National Park in Montana and Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. She was recently the retail director and buyer for the San Diego Padres professional baseball team in San Diego. Tracy continues her buying career by overseeing daily retail operations and purchasing merchandise for the golf shop.

Benjamin Kinzer has joined tbd advertising agency as a designer. Kinzer’s ability to mix artistic and technical skills has resulted in award-winning graphic design work. He’s also programmed new software and Web sites and provided art direction and set styling for photo shoots. He volunteers for Empty Bowls and designs promotional material for charity events. Kinzer enjoys mountain biking, collecting vinyl records, and he lives in Sisters.

Mike Goergen has joined Unicel as a business account executive for Bend and the surrounding area. Goergen has experience as a program manager of marketing for Sprint. He will be responsible for sales to business enterprises through onsite visits, assessing customer needs and training on Unicel products.

Kerri VanSise has been hired as a vice president and senior business development officer for Community First Bank. She’ll primarily direct the new concierge banking efforts for the bank as it prepares to open a new branch on Franklin Crossing in Bend. She will serve as a financial resource adviser for traditional banking solutions, customer lending, and commercial and investment real estate transactions. VanSise has 18 years of banking experience, including seven with Wells Fargo Private Client Services. She is involved with the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades, Cascade Festival of Music, the St. Charles Foundation, High Desert Museum and The Center Foundation.

Drs. Laurie Grisez and Robert Skarperud, of Blue Star Naturopathic Clinic, attended the Southwest Conference on Botanical Medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Ariz. The conference examined botanical medical treatment for women’s health, chronic back pain and depression.

Selena Zertuche, of Lumbermens Insurance and Financial Services, has earned designation as a certified insurance service representative from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Zertuche is a personal lines specialist with Lumbermens.

Carol Hallowell, Bob Hallowell, Fritz Johnston and Mike Smailys, of Citywide Mortgage Inc., recently became certified mortgage planning specialists. The four mortgage consultants have been trained to integrate financial planning advice into the mortgage process.

Patsy Roome has been named the managing principal broker of Sunriver Realty in Bend. Roome received a business and management degree from the University of Redlands in California and obtained her real estate license in 1973. For 16 years, Roome specialized in resort real estate in Aspen, Colo. She worked for five years as an urban land use planner for Deschutes County and the city of Bend. Since 1997, she has specialized in Central Oregon commercial properties. In her new position, Roome will oversee broker activities in residential and commercial real estate sales.

Carol Osgood, a broker at Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate, has received the Coldwell Banker President’s Premier Award, which recognizes the top 1 percent of Coldwell Banker agents on an international scale. Osgood, a native Oregonian, has nearly 30 years of real estate experience and specializes in land, homes, ranches and resorts throughout Central Oregon.

Norma DuBois and her team at Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate have been recognized in the top five teams for the Western region of Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Members of the team include Julie Moe, Lori Levias, Amanda Lenke, Debra Simonson and Alison Cambron. The award is based on sales production for 2006.

Beverly Oberg has joined Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate as a broker. Oberg, a Realtor for more than 25 years, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and holds several real estate certifications.
