Kilgore, Dodson take new positions at U.S. Bank

Ryan Killgore and Stacey Dodson have taken new positions in U.S. Bank’s community banking division.

Killgore has been promoted to division manager. He joined U.S. Bank nearly 30 years ago as a collector and has held various assignments. An Oregon native, Killgore lives in Bend and will now be responsible for the overall relationship management and leadership of Oregon, California, Nevada and Utah, which covers 143 branches and more than 1,000 employees.

Dodson is the new region president overseeing offices in Central and Eastern Oregon, replacing Killgore in his previous position. Dodson has spent 23 years with U.S. Bank, serving as the commercial sales and support manager for its community banking division that covers 23 states. Dodson received a bachelor’s degree in political science and speech communication from Willamette University in Salem and completed the Western Banking School Commercial Lending program. Before moving to Bend, Dodson lived in Portland and was involved in the Dougy Center for Grieving Children, Employers for Educational Excellence, the Franciscan Montessori Earth School, S.M.A.R.T. and the YMCA of Columbia Willamette. In her new role, Dodson will representall products and services offered by U.S. Bank, including commercial and private banking.

Staci Arney is now sharing the leadership role at the Waldorf School of Bend with Mark Quinlan, administrator, and DeeDee Erhard, development director. Arney, owner of Summit Coaching and Consulting and previous director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Oregon, will focus on board relations, school leadership, management and staff. Quinlan continues to manage the school’s fiscal responsibilities and Erhard will oversee outreach, enrollment and early childhood regulations.

Nathan Vandersluis is a new factory-trained rental and sales specialist at Bobcat of Central Oregon. Vandersluis has five years of equipment experience and, in his new role, he will be responsible for providing service to current clients and pursuing new customers and opportunities.

Mark Amberg has joined Harrang Long Gary Rudnick P.C., in Eugene, and will work in the labor and employment, and litigation practices. Amberg was the Deschutes County deputy legal counsel since 1998 and has practiced law for more than 20 years in Oregon and California, providing advice on litigating businesses, tort, employment and complex litigation matters. He is a member of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and serves on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Oregon.

Emily Struck, at Steele Associates Architects LLC, has passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation exam. LEED is a voluntary and consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance and sustainable buildings. Struck graduated from Madras High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in interior design from The Art Institute of Portland. She will be assisting design teams with sustainable site and building design projects.

Debbie Tebbs, Cate Cushman and Lynnea Miller, from Cushman and Tebbs Sotheby’s International Realty, participated in the second annual Sotheby’s International Realty Global Networking Event. The three-day event, held May 7-10 in Scottsdale, Ariz., provided a networking opportunity for sales associates, managers and owners of Sotheby’s International Realty offices. Tebbs, Cushman and Miller work at the Bend firm.

Melissa Hanes, Ann Marie Colucci and Shellie Boehm have been hired at COLM Commercial Real Estate Services in Bend.

Hanes, 2005 valedictorian at Summit High School, is pursuing an online/in-class bachelor’s degree in accounting from Linfield College. Hanes is a part-time real estate intern and is completing her broker’s license.

Colucci worked for DMB Associates Inc. in Phoenix, Ariz., before moving to Bend. She has been licensed in Oregon for two years and previously worked at Meridian Realty in residential and commercial sales. Colucci is a member of the commercial and investment division and is pursuing her Certified Commercial Investment Members certification.

Boehm, a Bend resident for nearly two years, joined COLM as assistant to Colucci. She received her broker’s license last year and previously worked at Meridian Realty.

Casey O’Brien has joined KTVZ-TV News Channel 21 as account manager. He has served in sales and marketing at New Belgium Brewery, as a sales representative for Young’s Columbia Distributing and as a senior technical recruiter at the Coho Group. O’Brien has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Southern Oregon University.

Jan Elliot has been recognized as volunteer of the eight-week spring session No. 2 for Healing Reins. Elliot joined the volunteer organization four years ago and has mentored horseback riders and other volunteers since April 2003. Elliot owns Bend Tarp and Liner with her husband, has been a resident of Central Oregon for 16 years and has been a horse owner for more than 20 years.
