Rita E. Lawrence, of Redmond, died Saturday. She was 75.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the residence of Jim and Marilyn Taylor, 64805 Laidlaw Lane, Bend.

Ms. Lawrence was born July 10, 1931, in Summerland, British Columbia.

Ms. Lawrence worked as a laboratory technician for ExxonMobil, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church in Redmond. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, playing bridge and gardening.

Survivors include a son, Glenn Smith, of Klamath Falls; two daughters, Linda Kraft, of Houston, and Leslie Goehri, of Sammamish, Wash.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Redmond-Sisters, the Humane Society of Redmond or St. Albans Episcopal Church in Redmond.
