A good walk spoiled

Golf may not seem like great exercise, but according to a recent study, golfers are much more likely to log the 10,000 steps per day recommended by various health organizations. Golfers who walked weighed, on average, 8.5 pounds less than golfers who rode in carts.

Average steps to play 18 holes

Walking the course: 13,145 steps

Riding in golf carts:6,280 steps
