Football

BEND Daily doubles are scheduled Aug. 20-29. Varsity and junior varsity players practice from 9-11:30 a.m. and 5-7:30 p.m. Incoming freshmen practice from 8-10:30 a.m. and 4-6:30 p.m. Paperwork and fees, available beginning Aug. 6 in the BHS athletics office, must be submitted before starting practice on Aug. 20. Equipment for the season will be handed out Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 8-11 a.m. for varsity and junior varsity players, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for incoming freshmen players. MOUNTAIN VIEW Daily doubles begin Monday, Aug. 20. A mandatory meeting begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by practice sessions from 9 a.m.-noon and 4-6 p.m. Gear for the season will be distributed Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. for grades 10-12, and Thursday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. for incoming freshmen.
