Janet Kay Lubbes, of La Pine, died Aug. 11 of natural causes. She was 71.

Mrs. Lubbes was born Feb. 11, 1936, in Eugene, the daughter of Mike and Alice Harris. She married Wayne Lubbes on March 14, 1957.

No services are planned.

Mrs. Lubbes was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Wayne, of Anaconda, Mont., Wes, of Birkenfeld, and George, of Buxton; two daughters, Leigh Phelps, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Janet Kittleson, of Anaconda; two sisters, Larlie Newkirk, of Hillsboro, and Doris Harris, of Oregon City; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
