Corvallis-based Dickerhoof Real Estate Group submitted plans to the city of Redmond last week for a project valued at $1.9 million that would include a drive-in restaurant by Oklahoma City-based Sonic Corp., a drive-through for Grants Pass-based Dutch Bros. Coffee, and an additional retailer. The 3.25-acre site, formerly the home of Mel’s Tractor Co., is located on the west side of U.S. Highway 97 between the Big R store and Odem Medo Road. The site is currently vacant. Mel’s relocated across the highway.
