Teresa Jean Ghan, of Crooked River Ranch, died Sunday. She was 79.

No services are planned.

Mrs. Ghan was born June 13, 1928, in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Joel and Fay (Sterley) Brady. She married Cecil Ghan in 1956 in Winnemucca, Nev.

Mrs. Ghan worked in medical records for Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, woodcarving, photography and writing poetry.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Jaynes, of John Day; four daughters, Lura Gordy, of Sherwood, Susan Smith, of Modesto, Calif., Judith Lockwood, of Lake Oswego, and Teresa Lockwood, of Seaside; two brothers, Joel and Richard Brady, both of Twin Falls; a sister, Katherine Kellogg, of Twin Falls; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.
