A two-day youth baseball camp, hosted by the Bend Elks and featuring former Oregon State University standout Tyler Graham, is scheduled for next week at Genna Stadium in Bend.

The camp is set for Thursday and Friday, Oct. 11-12, from noon to 4 p.m. each day. The camp coincides with days off for many area schools. Focus of the camp will be on the proper fundamentals of fielding, hitting, pitching and base running.

Graham, who formerly played for the Bend Elks summer collegiate team, starred as an outfielder for OSU’s College World Series teams of 2005 and 2006. He was part of the Beavers’ 2006 national championship team.

Drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2006, Graham batted .290 in 66 games this past season for the Augusta (Ga.) GreenJackets, the Giants’ affiliate in the Class A South Atlantic League.

Elks pitching coach Scott Anderson and other former OSU and Elks players are also expected to be helping at the camp.

Cost for the camp is $60, which includes two tickets to the Oregon State baseball intrasquad game in Bend on Oct. 13.
