Robert “Bob” Allen Sales, of Eugene, died Sept. 25 of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 51.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Nazarene in Camas, Wash. A celebration of life will be held in January in La Ventana, Mexico.
Mr. Sales was born Sept. 24, 1956, in Glendale, Calif., the son of Richard and JoAnne Sales. He attended California Polytechnic State University, where he played football.
He married Tanis Winters on Oct. 26, 1991, in Sunriver. They later divorced.
Mr. Sales worked as an electrician, fireman, ski patroller, scuba dive master and river guide. He enjoyed kiteboarding, scuba diving, fly-fishing, sailing, skiing and riding motorcycles. He lived in Bend for many years.
Survivors include a son, Brody, of Eugene; a daughter, Savannah, of Eugene; his parents, of Camas; and a sister, Robin, of Milton, Wash.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
