Rapper Obie Trice to play Midtown

Thanks to a last-minute booking, rapper Obie Trice and a slew of opening acts will perform at Midtown Ballroom on Sunday.
Trice, from Detroit, is best known as a close associate of hip-hop superstar Eminem and for his hit single “Snitch,” featuring Akon. His first two albums reached the Billboard 200 chart’s top 10, and his third record, “Bottom’s Up,” is expected to come out next year.

On Sunday, Trice will be joined by openers L.O.S., T. Soprano, Roseville and Tha Reps. Doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show will start around 9 p.m. Tickets cost $20 plus service charges in advance and $25 at the door, and advance tickets are available through TicketsWest at www.ticketswest .com and Safeway, 642 N.E.
