Jim and Doris (Liljeberg) Arntz, of Bend, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends.

The couple were married Feb. 15, 1958, in Burns. They have five children, John (and Carol), of Sonoma, Calif., Jim (and Sandra), of Orlando, Fla., David, of Bend, Mimi (and John) Fettig, of Bend, and Molly (and Scot) Barnes, of Bend; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Arntz served in the Navy during World War II, and he worked in real estate., retiring in 1985. Mrs. Arntz was a teacher in Burns for three years.

The couple have lived in Central Oregon for 48 years.
