Domino Room to host death metal tour

In the race among metal bands to pick the most awesome band name of all time, Arsonists Get All The Girls is certainly near the front of the pack. (How anyone could ever overtake The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, I have no idea.)
Anyway, the Arsonists, from Santa Cruz, Calif., are the headlining act on the Broken Hearts Broken Jaws tour, which descends on the Domino Room (51 N.W. Greenwood Ave., Bend) on Saturday night. The tour is chock full of hardcore and death metal, including mychildren mybride (from Alabama), For the Fallen Dreams (from Michigan), Stray From the Path (from New York) and It Lays In Ruins (from some place called Bend, Oregon).
The good fellas of Bleeding Thoughts Productions — the local promoters of the show — have links to all those bands on their MySpace profile, so if death metal sounds good to you, visit www.myspace.com/ bleedingthoughtspro and sample to your heart’s content. Just, uh, maybe turn the volume down a tad, especially if you’re listening through headphones.
The show starts at about 7 p.m., and tickets cost $13.
