David Lee Hawke, of Crooked River Ranch, died Sunday of natural causes. He was 71.
No services are planned.
Mr. Hawke was born May 12, 1936, in Portland, the son of Lowell and Marie (Johnson) Hawke. He married Carol Winchester on May 27, 2000, in Winnemucca, Nev.
Mr. Hawke served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He owned and operated an auto repair shop in Portland, retiring in 1993. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge in Portland, and he attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Terrebonne. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and working outdoors. He moved to Central Oregon in 1993.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin, of Portland; a daughter, Kelli, of Portland; two brothers, Kenneth, of Chinook, Wash., and Dennis, of Wellton, Ariz.; and one grandchild.
