Bend’s Les Schwab Amphitheater will host concerts by blues legend B.B. King on July 6 and classic rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd on July 10, and tickets for both shows go on sale today at 10 a.m.
King, a virtuoso guitarist, has been one of the biggest names in blues for more than 50 years, thanks to hits such as “The Thrill Is Gone.” Lynyrd Skynyrd rose to prominence in the 1970s, when it popularized Southern rock on the strength of songs like “Free Bird” and “Sweet Home Alabama.”
