The High Desert Museum’s first free day for seniors will be held Wednesday. The day will feature special programming, including a preview of the summer wildlife show and talks about wildlife and insects.

Touchmark at Mt. Bachelor Village is sponsoring the day and will offer complimentary transportation to and from the museum every hour on the hour between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., as well as free refreshments at Touchmark’s Terrace Lodge. Those planning to use the transportation should arrive at the Terrace Lodge 20 minutes before the departure.

The High Desert Museum is located at 59800 S. U.S. Highway 97, south of Bend.
