The Sagebrush Classic, a gourmet cuisine and elite golf event held every year in Bend, is scheduled for July 18-19 at the Broken Top Club.
The fundraiser, which includes, food, wine, golf and live music, benefits nonprofit organizations serving children and families throughout Deschutes County and Central Oregon. About 1,000 guests are expected, as well as 52 four-person golf teams.
July 18 will consist of an 18-hole golf tournament in which teams battle for cash prizes, trophies and bragging rights in the best-ball competition at Broken Top’s private course.
On July 19, the Classic Feast will include cuisine from at least 17 celebrity chefs, both local and from outside the area. Microbrews will be available courtesy of Deschutes Brewery, and wines will be courtesy of Mt. Hood Beverage Co.
Volunteers are needed.
