PORTLAND — The Coast Guard says the stern-wheel tug Portland ran aground east of the Bonneville Dam, and it was pulled to a dock.
The Coast Guard said 97 people were aboard the vessel Friday afternoon, and there were no injuries.
The guard said in a press release that a tugboat pulled the 186-foot vessel to a dock at Cascade Locks after several agencies sent boats and aircraft to help about 5:30 p.m.
The vessel was about 1.5 miles east of the dam.
