Candice Gladd and Aaron McCann, both of Bend, plan to marry Aug. 30 in Newport.

The future bride is the daughter of Richard and Trudi Gladd, of Bend. She graduated from Mountain View High School in 1994 and is also a graduate of both Central Oregon and Portland community colleges, where she studied radiology. She works as an MRI and X-ray technologist at an orthopedic clinic in Bend.

The future groom is the son of Bruce and Lesley McCann, of Corvallis. He graduated from Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis in 1990, and he attended Linn-Benton and Mt. Hood community colleges, where he studied business. He works as a finance manager at Jim Smolich Motors.
