Military Notes
U.S. Army Private Dustin A. Wright , of Terrebonne, graduated from infantry one station unit training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. He is the son of William Wright, of Terrebonne.
College Notes
Teresa Aitchison , of Bend, was named to the spring 2008 Dean’s List at Eastern Washington University.
• Cassondra Conte , of Bend, was named to the 2008 spring Dean’s List at Southern Oregon University.
• Nicholas Papa, of Bend, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. He is the son of Mary Garrison and Larry Papa, both of Bend.
• Tracy Churchill, of Bend, graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., with a bachelor’s degree for a double major in family studies and psychology. She is the daughter of Jason Churchill, of Kettle Falls, Wash., and Mary Ostrander, of Bend.
• Miranda Gillaspie, of Bend, graduated with a master’s degree in teaching from Concordia University in Medford.
• Clarissa Faust, of Bend, graduated with a paralegal associate degree from Globe University’s Minnesota School of Business-Shakopee. She is a 2000 graduate of Mountain View High School.
• Kasey Every, of Redmond, was awarded the Dean’s Leadership and Professional Achievement Award presented by the Oregon State University College of Business. Recipients receive the award and a $1,000 scholarship based on their enthusiasm for a profession, verbal skills, professional demeanor and leadership qualities.
