April 20, 1941 – July 22, 2008

Linda B. Jones died at her home in Redmond, on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the age of 67 years. She was born April 20, 1941, in Medford, OR, to parents, Clifford and Wanda (Heinze) Smith.

She moved to Redmond as a child and graduated from Redmond High School in 1959. She worked at U.S. Bank for 10 years. At one time, she was a river guide on the Rogue River, and had worked for the railroad, also.

Linda loved the outdoors, reading, and writing.

She is survived by two daughters: Dena Burk of Prineville and Trina Tohmeh, of Cypress, CA. There is also a brother, Buck Smith, of Roseburg, OR, and a sister, Julie Wimmer, of Salem; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Redmond Memorial Cemetery.
