Scott Cook, the author of the popular “Bend Overall” guidebook, is back at it, this time with a different kind of volume on the wonders of the Columbia River Gorge.

His newest is a sexy and romantic exploration of the Gorge’s hidden and off-the-path secluded spots. “Pokin’ Round the Gorge” isn’t for everyone. It combines nudity with the natural charms of the Gorge in a colorful volume laced with Cook’s trenchant observations.
