Greg Clontz died at home on August 9 from complications due to congestive heart and kidney failure.

Greg was the son of Alvie and Elsie Clontz, who moved him to Bend 48 years ago, when he was 14 years old. Greg married Carolyn Lauck in Coos Bay, Oregon in 1976. She survives him as does their son, Kable of Bend. He is also survived by two brothers, Ernie and Jeff of Ogden, UT; two sisters, Selma Frago of Sacramento, CA and Carma Cox of Lakeview, OR and many nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Greg was a skilled hand worker of wood products. He loved woodworking and building furniture; he was employed in Construction for the Mobile Home Industry.

Greg was an avid reader and collector of coins. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam war.
