The first Fiesta del Sol Celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Troy Field in downtown Bend. The fiesta is free and open to the public.

The celebration of Latin American traditions will include music, dance and foods, including cold confections, iced yerba mate, empanadas, fish tacos and carnitas.
